Axis Secures Consent for Kingswood Investments at Outdoor Education Centres

Axis has been retained by TATA Steel Europe limited to administer the second year of a maintenance contract. Contractors Grace Landscapes have also been retained to maintain the 8ha of phase 1 woodland planting.

The woodland forms part of an overall landscape masterplan, designed by Axis, to help reduce and filter dust particles emanating from the 1200ha steelworks. Phase 1 was planted in January / February 2012 on 3-4m high wounds created from site wastes and clays which were supplemented with paper crumb and sewage sludge to establish a suitable growing medium.
