Axis negotiated, prepared and submitted more than 60 schemes required by condition to enable implementation of a gas storage facility and 58 kilometre pipeline on behalf of King Street Energy (Cheshire) Limited – part of the NPL Group.

The schemes related to a variety of disciplines and required approval by two separate Local Authorities – Cheshire West and Chester and Wirral MBC. All schemes required precedent to commencement of development were discharged within the required period, allowing for the permissions to be implemented and safeguarded in perpetuity.

The team at Axis worked pro-actively with both Local Authorities, and their respective technical officers and consultees, to ensure that the schemes submitted were acceptable, and works necessary to implement the development were undertaken appropriately.

Axis was required to agree a number of non-material amendments to the consented development to allow the applicant sufficient scope to safeguard the permissions.
