Last Friday, Axis’ Jamie Bradshaw and Lee Kendall attended the Big Business North Wales 2026 conference at Venue Cymru, joining businesses, public sector organisations, and industry leaders from across the region to discuss North Wales’ future growth and investment opportunities.
One of the standout sessions came from Alwen Williams, Chief Executive of Uchelgais Gogledd Cymru | Ambition North Wales, who shared an update on the significant projects and initiatives helping to shape the region’s future. Discussions covered the North Wales Growth Deal, the Regional Transport Plan and emerging Strategic Development Plan, alongside major opportunities linked to Wylfa, Trawsfynydd, the Anglesey Freeport, North Wales AI Growth Zone, and the Flintshire and Wrexham Investment Zone.
The event also provided a valuable opportunity to connect with organisations including Ambition North Wales, Transport for Wales, Business Wales / Busnes Cymru, Development Bank of Wales, Route Media, Enfys Ecology Ltd, and Lanyon Bowdler, exploring how collaboration can help unlock positive outcomes for businesses, communities, and clients across the region.
