Axis Secures Consent for Kingswood Investments

Axis is proud to announce that they have been appointed by Veolia Waste Services to help prepare and submit an application and accompanying EIA for a circa 300,000 tonne per annum Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in Heysham, Lancashire.

The development represents a sustainable approach to treat the County’s waste and will create enough electricity to power 60,000 homes a year, as well as providing economic benefit for the local community.

Axis is leading on the preparation and production of all elements of the planning application and Environmental Statement, ultimately targeting successful determination by Lancashire County Council in mid-2019.
