Axis Transport Planning Assist in Delivering Byway Diversion to Assist Quarry Operations
Axis Transport Planning have worked with Cemex UK at their Doveholes Quarry facility to design and deliver new S278 highway works associated with the diversion of a Byway Open to All Traffic (BOAT) along the site’s revised northern operational boundary. Axis staff project managed the design of the works and the organised appropriate Road Safety Audits and Design Amendments. The works were recently completed on site to the satisfaction of Derbyshire County Council and now in use by pedestrian, cycle and 4×4 vehicle users.

Axis Transport Planning was a key part of the consultancy team that has successfully secured planning consent for a new 65-bed Care Home in Evesham, Worcestershire. Axis provided detailed highways and transport input to the project including preparation of a formal Transport Assessment and Travel Plan.

Planning Consent Secured for New MRI Scanning Unit and Car Park at Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, Stockport
Axis Transport Planning formed part of the development team promoting a new MRI Scanning Unit and Car Park at the Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, Stockport. Axis’s role included the design of the car parking area, and preparation of a detailed Transport Assessment supporting the scheme. Axis also undertook detailed survey work of staff and patients to inform a Travel Plan report which is now being implemented to promote sustainable access to the site.
