Axis meeting in Chester office

On 17 July, a planning application for a 60,000tpa Waste Transfer Station at Danes Moss Landfill Site was approved by Cheshire East Council’s Strategic Planning Committee. The Committee resolved to grant planning permission subject to the application not being called in by the Secretary of State.

The facility will be located within the Green Belt for which very special circumstances were demonstrated. As such, the planning application included a comprehensive alternative site search assessment.

Axis, on behalf of FCC Environment, project managed all aspects of the planning application.
