Planning Approved for Luxury Retreat in North Wales - featured

We’re pleased to share that planning permission has been granted for a unique treehouse-style development in Towyn, Conwy – a major boost for North Wales’ tourism offer.

Axis provided planning and highways support for this exciting project, which will deliver stunning chalets with private pools and panoramic views, carefully designed to sit sensitively within the surrounding landscape. The scheme represents a significant investment in the local visitor economy and is a great example of high-quality, sustainable development.

Our Transport team developed a detailed Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) to support the application. With site constraints and phasing requirements, the CTMP played a key role in securing approval.

Jamie Bradshaw, Senior Planning Consultant at Axis and project lead, commented: “We’re delighted to have secured approval for this luxury retreat on a longstanding client’s site in Towyn, Conwy. It’s fantastic to be involved in a project that will not only boost tourism in North Wales but also provide a high-quality, sustainable accommodation experience.

This development has been carefully designed to integrate with the natural environment while offering something truly unique for visitors. The high quality of the scheme reflects our client’s – Whitehouse Leisure Park Limited – commitment to investing in their sites and enhancing the region’s tourism economy. We’re looking forward to seeing the development come to life.”
